Le Review: 

To be honest, I thought this song was weird. XD Why? Few years ago, I tried translating this song.. The first few lines, I figured, was about counting sheep (?!) So I was like, what the hell was Manta singing??? Haha. Ok, that aside, when I discovered that this image song existed, I was actually happy for Manta. You guys have to admit that in the early soundtracks of Shaman King, there was no image song composed for him. Kinda unfair for his part since he’s sort of one of the main characters. Aside from being a best friend of Yoh, (and do nothing else but panic) somehow in his own characterization, people CAN make a song about it.  Good thing a few months or years later, Manshi was made. I thought this song was cute; very Manta-like. It suited him well. The sheep part was still related to Manta somehow. Saying that he couldnt sleep reminded me of the times he was afraid of ghosts/zombies/ dangerous stuffs happening to Yoh. Which gave me an idea that the song was probably about his fears. But like With Determined Passion, its another song I couldnt understand too well. I mean, what the hell’s wrong with sheep and stuffs? What the hell is he saying?!XD   

Was the song about nightmares? Was it about facing fears? Or was it simply about what Manta’s doing or thinking in times of danger? Perhaps I need to internalize it more to understand. But for now, I didnt get what Manta’s trying to say. Hahahaha. Nevertheless, it was a fun song to listen (regardless of its true meaning) It’ll make you think “awww.. this guy is so cute XD” yeahright>__>U.

Le Review:

Woah. Simply woah. When I first heard this song I instantly (and for the 100th time) fell for Yoh (again). Because unlike his other image songs, this song— as the title implied, simply had a lot of passion in it. So pure and heartfelt. Yuuko Satou really did a great job in doing Yoh’s voice. It may had been sound girly for the others but for me, it wasnt. It fitted Yoh’s personality so well. And what also amazed me was that, she (Yuuko Satou) managed to bring out another side of Yoh in this song. Something perhaps, that I havent seen or felt. Something like.. Yoh’s sensitive side or his very heart. As I listened to this, I thought— “woah.. Yoh’s matured in here”. And I meant that as Yoh “grew up” spiritually. The meaning of the song though was still a puzzle to me. Even though I found its english translation—- I couldnt make any sense out of it. Perhaps its just the complexity of japanese language and/plus the deep words or meaning of the lyrics. I couldnt really decipher.. Its these times that I wish I grew up in Japan =___=” The only thought I got was that the song’s about “purification” or if not that, its about being one with nature. 

My fave part of the song: The first line before the instrumental and “All you say, you say I kno~~w” onwards <3 gawd.. That is so hot -_____- I didnt know Yoh’s good with english. Or so I thought xD 

Because we’re friends. :))

Something that I want my other friends to learn.. That no matter how long or far we get separated, my feelings wont change, everything will be the same because what I’m actually holding on in those periods of separation is the bond and memories we created.
